To help reduce our impact on the environment, all of our supplements use bottles made from 80 - 100% post-consumer resin (PCR). Just by taking your vitamins (and remembering to recycle your bottles), you're helping us transform landfill waste into something that supports good health for you, your family and our planet.

SmartyPants Adult Formula and Fiber contains all of the same vitamins and omega-3 fish oil as our original Adult Formula. The only difference is that you get soluble fiber (up to 6g for adult) as well! If you or your kids take our Adult and/or Kids Fiber products, there's no need to also take our Adult and/or Kids Formula supplements.

The soluble fiber in our Adult and Kids Formula and Fiber comes from inulin syrup, a natural component of chicory root. The inulin in our Fiber products is extracted from chicory root. Inulin is a fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) which is a mixture of linear fructose polymers partly ended by a glucose molecule. In addition to chicory, FOS is found in bananas, garlic, onion, asparagus and artichoke. Inulin is not digested by the digestive system and is a soluble fiber.

Fiber promotes regularity and increases the presence of beneficial bacteria in the gut.*

While the FDA recommends adults take 20-38 grams of fiber per day (depending on age and gender) most of us consume around half of that. That is why we included soluble fiber in our SmartyPants Formula and Fiber — to help close this nutrition gap and to help bring these many benefits to our customers.

While we want to communicate the comprehensive nature of our supplements, we also want to focus on always getting better. We felt like calling our products “Complete” didn't capture completely our drive to be the best we can, as with our current reformulation work, so we decided to change.
